WordPress notified me about reaching 50 000 views not long ago. It’s a checkpoint in blogging I am eternally thankful. The fact is, I am not blogging as much as I did when I started this blog. If I kept up being active like I was in 2016 or 2017, I think I could’ve reached 50k faster. I had around 20k views in a year and on some of the days, I achieved 200 views, while on my bad days I got 20 views. It’s not consistent, today I am getting around 30 views on average. The truth is, I got other obligations, more work on my end, and little time to be active, even if I post blabbering every other day. I’ve decided that having those 30 avid readers and followers is better than having a million in the numbers, but nobody to drop by and say hello. I keep those 30 bloggers around, and I think of them as friends, my blogging army, my Commanders in Quill.
This checkpoint on my blog, well, as everything on my blog, is dedicated to you. I could write and blabber all I want, but the difference is what you make. If it wasn’t for you, all of this would be pretty much pointless. Therefore, I salute you, my friend, and I raise my glass to your health. Thanks for sticking around with me, reading my nighttime thoughts, and retrospection on what I’ve lived through, experienced and learned. See you another day. Stay well, and take care.
