Awesome Blogger Award

Awesome Dronstad

Is there a better way to welcome an Orthodox New Year than this? I think not. I was nominated by Roy, an awesome blogger that writes great texts on various topics. If you haven’t seen his work, what are you waiting for? Move soldier.

Let’s keep this short, so I’m gonna hit the questions that I want my nominees to answer too.

1. What is the latest book you’re reading and are you enjoying it?

Deep Cover by Brian Garfield. It’s about a Russian’s plan to populate USA with their spies, let them take over the city and military bases by taking prestige positions in all of the important government branches and in a case of war, activate sleeping cells and form a Russian military base on American soil. Will cunning plan work. Read to find out.

2. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Other?

WordPress for life. Ha, ha, ha. I use both Facebook and Twitter, yet my followers seem uninterested in those.

3. What is your favorite word and why?

I like all words, good and bad. Words want to be used, therefore I am not afraid to use any of them. That’s how words live and we can appreciate the meaning they hold.

4. Dogs or Cats?

None in real life. Yet, I got a Kitten here on my blog. She is a mascot for the 42. Cyber Corps of Dronstad Army. She is lovely.

5. Is there any song that holds any special meaning to you?

This one. Listen the lyrics and you’ll see why I like it.

6. What do you feel strongly about?

In goodness of the common people. It doesn’t matter through what horrors they pass through, they’ll always come back to kindness and goodness. They are not thought to hate and they will always try to help someone, because they know what it’s like to struggle in poverty. I feel we should be more good, kind and tolerant to others.

7. If you could grant one person in your life one wish, what would it be?

Depends what they wish for and am I able to grant them that wish. The question is kinda vague, but I understand the point.

If I would have to chose something, I would pick honesty. We daily wear masks and for a true person, I would take it down and say what is on my mind.

8. What is your favorite film?

I have answered this question once. I am able to see “Fifth Element” from Luc Besson once a day for the rest of my life and not feel bored.

9. What is your favorite book?

“Mother Earth” by Arthur C. Clarke. He introduced sci fi to me when I was a child. I became a stargazer and haven’t stopped looking at the stars since.

10. Did you make any New Year’s Resolutions?

I don’t make promises nor I plan in advance as the most beautiful things happen by accident. Sometimes, I am a control freak and I pay the price for trying to have everything in my hands, but I am slowly learning to put my hands up and enjoy the ride.

How’s that for an answer? I haven’t forgot about you my brothers and sister in quill. I nominate:

Paul

Ankita

Megha

Sergeant Sofia

Sergeant Kiki

Sergeant Love

And Major Matt of the Dronstad Army

Have fun with this questions and know that you are truly awesome people. March on my brethren in quill, stop for no one.
